1839 Taphouse

Taphouse is a great place to eat and drink. They sell liters and pints, they make their own in-house ginger ale, the food is outstanding. My go to is a chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. They have this sauce for swf that is delicious! Also has a killer soft pretzel. They do need to replace their booth seats tho, hella uncomfortable. Def take a table if available

A friend and i visited here yesterday. They opened a bit early for us which was nice. They have about 24 beers on tap not all crafts but most are. I had an IPA and a Russian imperial stout; both good. Also listed were a smattering of otjer styles including APAs, lagers, sours, stouts and so on. My friend got a cheese burger and home made chips. Both good. Service was good with friendly and knowledgeable staff. People started coming in about 5. Overall a nice place for good beer and food. Recommend.

This is my favorite bar in town. Away from the downtown scene, it avoids any fratty feels and is a great place to come and be with friends, eat delicious pizza and burgers, and drink good beer. Plus it has the best trivia on Monday nights!

Great place to relax with friends to shoot the bull. Calm environment, outdoor fireplace, friendly staff and a large menu of craft beers.
