1892 East Restaurant & Tavern

On Sunday they have a brunch and it's usually best to make reservations. Time is from 10 a.m. Till 2 p.m.. the brunch is not a actual Buffet but it is order off the menu and they always have a special. A mimosa is offered with each meal one per person. The food is very high quality and you can always order an extra egg on whatever you get. The parking is along the Main Street so you do have to look to find a parking spot there is no actual parking lot for the restaurant. They have a wonderful burger that is so delicious. They're cheesy grits are very cheesy and creamy best we've ever eaten. Their breads are artisan breads made in house. With local grains local sprouted grains.

First time going to this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. Nice atmosphere with great service. Great selection of local beers at a reasonable price. We had some appetizers which were a local. Fried Green tomatoes were perfect with the best sauces. Cheese was all local with great flavor. I had the the beef that was perfectly cooked as my main dish. Everything was perfect and we will go back again.

Locally sourced ingredients when possible. Vegan choices. Good wine selection and service. I've been an occasional customer for years and never been disappointed. Upscale dinning in a casual atmosphere. I do recommend it to others.

I like that items are locally grown and fresh. Waitress was nice, decor is refreshing, drinks were good and my chicken pot pie was okay. The chicken pot pie was a little bland to be honest, thankfully some hot sauce made it taste better. My date got the catfish and enjoyed it.

I always enjoy myself at 1892. Their expanded brunch menu was a nice surprise and their staff is always super friendly. Just an overall wonderful experience every time I visit.
