Our old apartment complex flooded and was absolutely no help to us during the entire process. 46 Penn worked so fast to get us in and gave us keys right away. I cannot thank them enough and do not think we will be moving for a long time.
46 Penn is the perfect plaza location. Great amenities, covered garage parking at no additional cost, regular community events for residents. Apartments are great and pet friendly for our red lab. The staff is what makes 46 Penn the best. Been here 2 years and have rarely had issues, but when any arise, maintenance is on top of it and very helpful. Office staff/concierge are always there to help with anything you need, having nothing but positive experiences with all staff members. Very friendly community, would highly recommend for plaza living.
The perfect plaza apartment living! The location of this apartment is unbeatable, and the amenities are great! Also if you have pets it is very pet friendly, there is a large fenced area for off-leash play, and they even have social events for your dogs too! The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home, and any issues are addressed promptly. I have loved living here, and especially loved all the social events and gorgeous pool!
Before my husband and I sold our home, we knew the area we were interested in moving. We looked at several options, but when we were shown the apartment we currently reside in, we both said immediately “this is it!” We have found that the diversity of ages and people at 46 Penn is great. We believe we have assimilated quite well. We have come to love other residents, but know that it is the phenomenal staff that makes 46 Penn the place to be. Ian, world class concierge; Emali and Rikki in the front office; and the EFT’s efficient, friendly, and talented of the maintenance staff, Joe, Tammi, Sasha, and Edward; and let us not forget Courtesy Officer Tim and guard dog Bella. The amenities are nice, especially when we can use or enjoy them, i.e., the coffee/tea bar and waffles. We certainly enjoy the events that our concierge plans and executes. Last, but certainly not least is the fact that we do not speak of our residence as an apartment, but we call it as it is, “Our home.”
My boyfriend and I began looking for apartments closer to the city in the middle of the pandemic. We toured apartments for 4 days before finding 46 Penn. After our tour we knew 46 Penn was the place we wanted to live! After much support from our leasing agent, we were approved and ready to move in. Such an easy, smooth process. 46 Penn is within walking distance from the Plaza making it a PRIME spot to live, as well as, easy access to major highways. If we have a work order it is completed within 24 hours. They keep the amenities clean, especially during the pandemic. The pool is by far the best amenity! Hands down the best place I’ve lived!
I can not rave enough about this apartment complex! Not only is it a stunning place to live, but the staff always has fun events planned. Along with that, the staff genuinely cares about you, and in my option they are what makes the place so special! My husband and I have lived here for 2+ years and we have nothing negative to say! It is more of a community, that makes you feel at home! Just this morning, the staff planned breakfast Togo, it was a wonderful way to start a Friday morning!
You will find residents are varying aged professionals...doctors, nurses, consultants, Chiefs and Royals players. The staff is excellent and friendly. Chic pool and pre covid, many social events. Building is very well kept and of course can’t beat the plaza location!
46 Penn goes above and beyond for their residents. There are so many things to love about this place--the community-like feel you establish with others who reside here, top-notch amenities best pool in KC, prime location next to the Plaza, fun resident activities, etc. However, I think what sets 46 Penn apart from any other place that I have lived is its employees. Everyone you come in contact with who works here genuinely cares for you and is sincerely interested in how you are doing. Whether it is the employees in the leasing office, front desk, or the maintenance crew who, by the way, are always quick to fix anything!, they are truly committed to ensuring you live in a high-quality place. My wife and I love living here, and we are so lucky to have found 46 Penn!
I have lived here for three years. I moved in because I believed it to be the nicest apartment complex in Kansas City, it was on the Country Club Plaza, and I just got a good vibe from all of the people here. The best thing about living here is the diversity and acceptance you receive from all of the people that live here. Whether 25 or 85, the people here are truly interesting and friendly. It is a unique community and everyone takes care of one another. Ian is a great concierge and I suggest if you live here to partake in all of the resident events even if you think they sound corny. I cannot sing enough praises for the work and effort that Ian does. My only complaint over the time that I have lived here is how Price Brothers has handled the pandemic. They are unwilling to provide concessions or come up with creative solutions. I am currently having trouble finding a job because of Covid-19. During March and April many of the amenities to enjoy at this complex were shut down as they should have been. The residents still had to pay the same rent even though we were not allowed to use the pool area, coffee bar, workout center, tanning room, massage room, business center, and community area. I was in fact even charged more in rent because they demanded we use an online payment system that every month failed to let me log in there was a glitch in my case and it said I did not live here. This was not my fault that their website would not allow me to log in and I do not understand why they have to use a third party website for those services anyway. This problem was never solved and I was slapped with late fees because rentpayments.com would not allow me to pay rent online. Currently, things are chaotic. We have no manager or assistant manager so nobody knows who to contact if there is a problem or an issue. The building is nice and is well kept and landscaped. It is in a great location except we pay for that and right now the location is less desirable because of the pandemic resulting in the entertainment industry being shut down. I think we should receive a concession because of changing times. There has been constant construction outside of my apartment. That is not the fault of PriceBrothers but for over the last year I have had a view of construction equipment and have to wake up at the crack of dawn because of the cranes and trucks. I also hear the workers' conversations which is annoying. That is not how it was when I moved in. Price Brothers needs to change and adapt to current conditions.
46 Penn always goes the extra mile to give their residents the best experience possible. I moved from Nashville and the staff went out of their way to make me as comfortable as possible. I love using the huge gym, tanning bed, and beautiful infinity pool. Throughout quarantine, 46 Penn came up with great social distancing events such as listening to a harpist on your balcony overlooking the pool, offering expresso drinks, and giving breakfast out occasionally. The concierge service always goes above and beyond. It doesn’t feel like I’m living in an apartment - it feels like I’m at home. 46 Penn will always go the extra mile for residents and I highly recommend living here.
