The Roanoke Apartments

I was over there yesterday to inquire about the property. At one time, there was an on-site leasing office, but no longer. There are no phone numbers on any of the signs. How does a person get in touch with the manager. The phone number listed here on Google is no longer in service.

Last week, there were six a/c units stolen from the complex, including mine. The following morning, on a Saturday, the maintenance man was there with a window unit. He installed it in twenty minutes, and moved on to all the other neighbors. It was fine all weekend, and I really didn’t expect much more. On Monday, when I got home from work, there was a new unit in the back, and the window unit was gone. I couldn’t believe how quickly they responded. This is the best experience I’ve ever had with a rental, and I’m incredibly happy in this community. Crime in the area is increasing, unfortunately, but it’s usually not on this property. The complex is normally very quiet, and feels safe. I love it here. Thank you to maintenance for responding like that. I will not forget it.

On the website they listed one 2 bedroom apartment that was to be available on 9/15. They actually had more apartments available but NONE could be ready by that date. They took over a week to run and approve our application. Once that was finally done, they tried telling us we’d owe a $1,750 deposit, DOUBLE what they told us the maximum deposit could be, still without providing a move-in date. While all of this was going on, we ended up securing an apartment downtown for a deposit of $200 and it took only two days to be approved. Something isn’t right with these people.

We have been tenants here for over two years and love it. We have not seen a single bug, there is always hot water, maintenance and the office staff are quick to respond and awesome to work with, while the kitchen is small - everything was new when we moved in, dog-friendly, affordable and great location. This is a great rental spot for young adults.

The apartments are older but well maintained. The location is great and it is very affordable for the area. The staff is very responsive and I think a lot live on site or on other APD Properties. What you lack in amenities is made up for with service, clean apartments, and access to everything around Westport and close to downtown.

I have been living here for over 2 years now and I have loved it. The staff is nice and friendly and quick to help you out if something goes wrong. I like being so close to everything and that I have the option to walk places without it being a crazy distance. It is a good place to call home.

New management gave minimum required notice to kick residents out during pandemic. I no longer recommend these apartments after the management change.

Nice apartments and good prices. Room sizes are on the smaller side but worth what you pay for.

Poor rooms with cranky neighbors.
