A Country Veterinary Clinic

I switched to A Country Vet a few years ago because my animals saw Dr. Wilson at another practice a long time ago. Since I have switched, I have been pleased with EVERYTHING - no complaints! They work with you to find an affordable way to care for your animals. I recently had to put my 14-year old German Shepherd to sleep and the card they sent with a personal note from each employee and my dog's paw print meant more than anything. The staff truly cares about you and your pet.

Very open atmosphere. Everyone loves animals who works here as well. We went in as a walk in for shots and worm test and I thought we would be there for at least an hour. We got in and out in about 30-45 minutes. Maybe it's protocol, I call it good service. Will make my routine vet check up place to go.

What a wonderful experience! My dog is a feisty chihuahua and he doesn't like ANYONE messing with him. A trip to the vet with him, is like pulling eye teeth from an alligator. I was impressed with how the whole visit was handled from beginning to end; with the staff and Dr. Wilson. They took such great care of Paco and were very reasonably priced. The decor is adorable and it soothes the nerves of the patients and their humans waiting in the waiting room. A lot of thought went into Dr. Wilson's set up and it shows. I LOVED IT!

Been going for a couple years now and have very much enjoyed my expierence with them. Though they are a busy clinic, it's not hard to get an appointment within a reasonable time frame. They are always friendly and helpful. They have given me discounts and free services a few times as well. The best example is when they discovered my dog had 2 teeth that needed to be pulled but when they got him under, found he actually needed 6 teeth pulled. They pulled them all but only charged me for the 2. They always answer all my questions and put my mind away ease every time I'm there.

These guys are always very nice and personable and knowledgeable. There pricing model for visits, procedures and expecially prescriptions it by far the best in our area!! We have used quite a few vets in Northern New Hanover County and this one gives quality care at a rate that doesn’t put you in the position of not treating your pet or taking out a second mortgage! We will continue to use them for our pets and recommend them to everyone we know.
