Very rude sales associates. We were browsing in the store with no one helping us whatsoever. A salesman yelled at us, “Do not put your fingers in the bottle,” when we were trying a tester. Then he asked which testers we touched and threw them away right in front of us. Terrible customer service with obvious no proper training. It was a small incident that can be easily resolved in many better ways, but apparently their people were not capable of that. Make sure your sales are properly trained before letting them interact with your guests if you still want to have any guests.
Friendly and attentive staff. They aren't aggressive in asking you if you need help and following you around. You get the feeling they just want to help. But in my case I needed help and the lady I was talking to was so patient while I went on and on. She gave me some simple suggestions for a skin cleanser. Then I tested 2 products and she literally massaged the cleanser onto my hand which surprised me but was soothing. Products all smell great per usual.
Very pricey but nice smelling products. The staff member was very helpful in suggesting some products for my skin type. Got to try a couple things on and felt very relaxed on my way out! Mini spa experience.
Aesop is my go-to store for body and hand washes. Citrus Melange is my favorite. The store is beautifully scented with a mixture of Aesop's fragrances. Customers are welcome to wash their hands in the sink. Just ask or pick out a body or hand wash to try. Frieda helps me out when I visit Aesop. She's very helpful and patient. Aesop is on Newbury Street, between Dartmouth and Exeter.
Amazing customer service and products. I had a gift card and have never invested in such high end skincare before so I was a little intimidated, but the staff were so helpful without being pushy. Yuki seemed like a real expert and Aaron was very helpful as well. I basically received a mini spa treatment on my hands as Yuki showed me how to use the products, and she gave me a lot of samples too. I’m now stocked up for a while but looking forward to going back eventually.
I loved it here! It's a very quiet, comfortable place to shop in. There's relaxing music and a fresh, earthy smell. The decor is simple and beautiful with natural woods and exposed sinks. The product is organized neatly along the walls, and there's someone there to answer your questions and help guide you towards what you're looking for in a polite and friendly way. Aesop products are top tier, and I highly recommend them as a brand! I love their fragrances, and they offer items for bath, body, home and more, all in a very sustainable way.
Ask for Makeila! I went in to purchase a product, and not only did Makeila identify that I was buying the wrong product, the product she pointed me to was 1000x better, AND she told me not to buy it until I try the sample for a few days. Makeila did not force me to purchase anything and helped me try the right product for the right solution. She could have easily allowed me to buy the wrong one, and she did what a 5 Star team member would do, give me sound advice and not force me to buy. I ended up buying her recommendation anyways
I have been looking for good facial cosmetics for a long time - one that is relatively natural and effective. I found Aesop on a trip to Sydney, Australia and fell is love. Since then this is all I use! Amazing products!
The store staff here are extremely knowledgeable and will suggest and test products specific for your skin type. Regarding the products, Aesop follows the less is more principle, which I have found to greatly benefit my skin.
Great customer service, they really take care of customers needs and help you to choose the best product that suits your skin that what really like about they never force you to buy. the aesthetic of the store and product is great.
