Agape House Berry Farm

Great place! I was able to take my little dog with me after I called ahead. The owner has a larger dog on the farm that free roams so if you're gonna bring a dog with you, call them ahead of time. The berries themselves were pretty good. Most of the smaller, ripe ones were very sweet with just a little bit of tartness. The larger berries tended to be a bit more sour. However, there is a HUGE difference in flavor between fresh picked strawberries and the ones you buy in the store. Store bought ones tend to taste like solidified lemon juice. These strawberries were flavorful and a mix of sweet and tart. It was $6 per pound of strawberries. The blackberries, I was told, aren't going to be ready until Early June. The field itself was about a dozen rows of strawberry plants. I was able to through each row and pick the berries that I wanted. I was given a bucket and a plastic bag to store them in.

Great place to bring your family! No admission fees, no time limit, no picking limit. Grab a bucket (also provided) and fill up! They weigh your bag when you're done harvesting and price go by the pound (market price). It was 6$/lb when we went. It's definitely well worth it. They beat store-bought berries by a long shot. They taste SO good and way more nutrient dense. You can't go wrong. My kids had a blast and we can't wait to return in June for blackberries! Credit/debit card are accepted

Fun place to visit a little pricey to walk around. The kids liked it.

Beautiful little place off the beaten track yet surprisingly close to "civilization." What a pleasant surprise! We look forward to our next visit!
