Alba Restaurant

My business requires I get to dine all over North America so I have a lot of extra-ordinary food experiences. At Alba I had the gnocchi with prawns. The herb crema flavor was deep, rich and creamy. The texture of the gnocchi as perfect as my Italian mother-in-law would make and the prawns were succulent. The service and atmosphere were first class. "Spread the word". Jason and his team have an incredible establishment.

Food. It's all about the food. It isn't very often that I am scraping the plate trying to get every last bite. But I did here. I had a wonderful salad with beets for starters and then the brisket as the main dish. The server brought a knife, but it was not needed. Amazingly tender. Thr brisket was served on a wonderful sauteed mixture of carrots and pecans. Well done, Chef!

Possibly the best restaurant in town. Do they still have $5 burger Monday? If so its the best deal in town!

Delicious! The staff is great and the food couldn't have been any more delicious. I will certainly go back as this is a new favorite in the East Village.

I was sort of snubbed because i was there for the burger night by the wait staff. The bartenders were very attentive. The mixed drinks were great! Truely what a patron of Blazing Saddles bar said it would be. The burger was great but the fries were over cooked. The creme brulee was runny but with a good flavor. Not a top 10 but definitely not on the nono list.
