Staff: Super chill. I had no change for the parking meter and, without asking, the hostess just gave me 50 cents which way more than covered our stay and didn't want it back. Brian the bartender was super helpful and relaxed. Gave us great recommendations for the food. Food: Had the steak sandwich and truffle fries. Both were legit. Truffle fries were an appetizer and came with more than enough fries for one person. The steak was more tender than some hamburgers I've eaten. Overall: if you are in Ames I would definitely go and get some great food and get great service.

Delicious food! When I'm treating myself, it's chill cured filet. Keep an eye out for their Wednesday specials, great deals on food made with high quality ingredients

Not sure where to start.. the food is amazing.. tonight I had the duck, and let me say, it was delectable!! A few nights ago I had prime rib that melted I my mouth The desert drunks including the buttered rum or even better the Brandy Alexander with heavy cream instead of ice cream are mind blowing! The staff is amazing! I love this place and will be back for sure!

Awesome Food. Great Service. We left a 20% tip. We will be back. Everything from the drinks to the main course to the dessert were excellent. The only thing I would say, if you run a great place, when someone orders a salad, do more than a plate of iceberg lettuce! For all the great food, the salad arrived and it was extra at $4. And to add to that, it was, was a plate of iceberg lettuce. Really? You cannot even add a nice tomato, cherry tomatos, or pepper, or grated cheese? C'mon people. We love salads as well as good food and wine. So, if you are running a great place, please make EVERYTHING great. The salad seemed kinda outa of place...That's all. But again, the main food and dessert and wine, AWESOME!
