Red Rooster Grill

The Red Rooster is an old school, very quaint sit-down Cafe with friendly local patrons in regular attendance for coffee, conversation and the daily menu special. The Rooster theme is present in the dining area with various rooster ornaments and display items. The shop-worn appearance does not speak for the outstanding service and menu. All day breakfast is a feature. In business for 60 plus years in the same location, the Red Rooster is not to be overlooked.

Food was good and the lady working there was very sweet. Prices were about what I would expect if not just a shade higher, but they only accept cash or check, so when travelling on business this is not the place for me.

My second time there and love it, very old fashioned breakfast, good food, great service!! Met two friends for breakfast and we love it. Will meet there again..

I’ve never had a bad experience here. Great diner food at reasonable prices. The omelettes are exceptional and the pancakes are great. But the coffee leaves something to be desired.

The cozy little diner is what we all look for in a new town. It's a place where you feel like family. I am not a regular there, but they do have quite a few regular customers from my observation - it's just great to see a waitress walk up to a couple - talk to them about their family while pouring fresh coffee, then at the end of their short conversation she says "The usual?", and of course the reply was "Yep". If I am ever in Cedar Falls again I am certain to return to this place. Good food, good prices, excellent place.
