Machine Shed Restaurant Urbandale

Farm equipment and machinery themed, family style restaurant that offers all American country style favorites in substantive portions. There is a farm themed gift shop that you enter through or you browse while waiting to be seated. Well prepared food. They add an extra egg to your egg preparations if you tell them that you love eggs. Their coffee is basic but rest of the servings are great. Fantastic service. Our server repeatedly asked if we needed anything else. Also, the beverage refills kept on coming without having to ask. Enjoyable.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Machine Shed tonight. My partner and I had a fantastic server who was so sweet, the food was delicious, and the prices are pretty reasonable. Plus the restaurant was spotless, which is something I always appreciate. We'll definitely be back!

This is a great place for a family meal. They have some big round tables that make conversation easy, plus, they do not rush you. The food is good Ole Country Cooking. The menu is quite varied. They also have a small general store to shop in if you have to wait.

Food right off the farm!! Here you can enjoy family style meal complete with bread and potatoes. The portions are huge and the food is always good, I love the pork chops and open meat sandwich. There is also a country store where you can pick up some neat gifts.

Good ole down home cooking can be found here. Generous portions. Family style bread, Cole slaw and veggies was a nice touch. Will be back next time we are in the area.
