Proof Restaurant

One of the best meals I've ever eaten. Had the cheese plate with the chickpea crackers (hard to describe but delicious). Then the gnocchi with sage and brown butter. Service was superb, very attentive and friendly. Cocktails were out of this world. Go for the "Bartender's Roulette"--you won't be disappointed.

Proof is the truth!! A very unique dining experience. Honestly, there were items on the menu that I was unfamiliar with, couldn't pronounce and had to Google. The wait staff was patient and answered all of our questions. Each dish was prepared to perfection! In a word.....Delicious.

I make it a point to eat somewhere special once a month. I heard alot about this place so took my husband and friend here for a meal. The atmosphere is great. They were unfortunately out of several things we wanted. Being a Saturday night this was a disappointment. It's great They order fresh but everything I wanted to try they did not have. Also instead of informing us and allowing us to pick something else our waiter made his own selections based off of what he liked. One of which being the Brooklyn Bresola "something we have had many times" in the future I hope they can make guests aware once being sat of any changes to the menu. I am going to try them again earlier in the week next time in hopes they have everything.

Stopped by tonight to give it a go after hearing so much about proof. We sat at the bar and the bartender was helpful and friendly. She checked back with us and made sure we had all questions answered. As we flipped through the menu however, we noticed a younger well dressed man helping with the seating (?) went to the back and we heard a crash followed by multiple F bombs at others. The gentleman was either worked up or coked out because he was fidgety and kept dabbing his nose. Needless to say, our vibe for the night was put off and we left to enjoy food at Bubba’s. I wanted to try this place but if the staff can’t be aware of their surrounding for the prices paid at the venu then they should not work at a place such as Proof.

I always enjoy an evening at Proof. Drinks are creative and tasty, nice wine selection and great charcuterie. Then, there's the food. Great taste, creative and revolving menu, always tasty. I'm very fond of their sorbet as well!
