Albers Medical Pharmacy

Walgreens didn’t have my daughter’s antibiotics and didn’t offer to call the attending to request a different prescription. Alli at Albers took care of us the second we walked in the door and was able to fill our prescription in less than an hour. She was kind and explained everything.

I switched to them from Walgreens where I had an issue every month filling a monthly script. Since I have moved to Albers I've had no issues. This month they only had enough to fill a partial script for me and I'm having a hard time getting in there by 530 per my work schedule to get the rest of my meds. I just called to let them know I will be there for it as soon as I can. I spoke to Doug who offered to stay late for me. Which obviously he does not have to do and no other pharmacy would ever even offer that. I thought that was super kind and nice of him. Everyone I've encountered who works there has been nothing but kind. I'll never go back to Walgreens or cvs after dealing with a mom and pop pharmacy. So much better. Thanks guys! You're awesome!

I use this pharmacy only because my doctor refuses to use a different pharmacy for my prescription. However, my monthly experiences with Albers over the past couple of years was excellent - until the last 3 months - in spite of their inconvenient location and limited hours. Once I was unable to obtain my medication for several days because someone failed to order it from the drug company in a timely manner. In 2 additional instances I was treated so rudely by the person who answered the phone, if I had a choice I wouldn't do business with this pharmacy again. But apparently, because the pharmacy enjoys a "special relationship" with my doctor's office, they have no incentive to treat customers decently. I'd like to say that I would never use this pharmacy again - but I would have to find a different medical practice - and I've been seeing my doctor as my PCP for over 10 years.

Not having used them before, and due to the newness of the medication being prescribed, I called Alber's to inquire about my prescription status. Not only was the girl that I talked to very helpful and pleasant, they already had my prescription filled, AND they are one of the few pharmacies in the area that carry my medication regularly. The establishment itself is very clean and organized, parking was easy, and the entire staff seemed very cheerful when I walked in. I had some questions about what side effects I might expect as well as how a particular drug manufacturer's coupon worked and all were happily answered. Overall, a really great experience! Only thing I would add to my wish list would be a drive through... Says the mom hauling around multiple small people. 9/25/18 ETA: while they don't have a drive through for obvious logistical reasons, I was told that if I have a credit card number on file and give them a call when I park, SOMEONE WILL BRING MY PRESCRIPTIONS TO ME!! *swoon*

Awesome staff! Very caring and always willing to listen and help with whatever your pharmaceutical needs may be. They are always smiling, upbeat and all around great people to do business with. Best pharmacy in Kansas City if not Missouri!

This place is so great. They answer the phone, they’re nice, they’re fast, it’s locally owned, the customer service is exceptional. Why mess with Walgreens or CVS? I’ve been coming here for over three years now and Alber’s has spoiled me rotten. I’ll never go back to one of the big chains again.

Not a welcoming pharmacy. They made me feel like they were very prejudice I will never come here or recommend them to anyone. No one wanted to do their pharmacy job just cashiering and gossiping.

Excellent customer service. Very helpful staff who have gone above and beyond. They work very well with my doctor. For being such a small store they have a nice selection of things you need from a drug store.

This pharmacy is perfectly organised, they always have what I search for the staff is kind even at 3 pm. You can always rely on a good advice from them, very knowledgeable and experienced people.
