This is an awesome place with lots of history. I like walking into the black Smith shop and watching them work. The bakery has good cookies and the general store has some cool stuff as well. Lots of bicycle trails too. There is a lot of history here, their flea markets are great and it is family and dog friendly.

Great place to take your family for outdoor/historical experience. Well maintained walking areas and historical site. Has large open fields and bike path that goes all the way to the shore in Manasquan. They also have a train for train rides. In the fall they do a spooky train ride and other Halloween things for the kids. For admission to the park- I vaguely remember paying a small fee of $5 one time, but most times I have been here , it has been free.

A memorable, educational, historical and wonderful place to visit with kids.Ensure to hire a guide but we went to this place as part of my kids field trip. No photography allowed inside but worth watching the church, the blacksmith, the carpenter, souvenir shop. I saw few visitors others than the school kids but it has something to say...something to know About...feel those days of history..

Really cool historic village. Nice to imagine what life was like when this place was pumping out iron from the bogs. Looking forward to bringing my bike back to go on some of the trails which I here are spectacular.

Nice quiet park right off the busy 195. Campgrounds are set back and really well maintained. However the price per night is like $20. A little high for kissy a regular campground.
