Allegro Music

We rented at Alto Saxophone for 10 months last year at the end of our sons 5th grade year in band he said he may want to try playing the Trombone. This year he tried a Trombone in the music class and found that his arms are just not long enough to play it so he is sticking with the Saxophone. We contacted Allegro and asked if they would allow us to use our rental credit towards a purchase. They said because we had already returned it we were out of luck. Just lost this customer.

On August 30th I went into the Peoria location to purchase a music book for my daughter. I watched the cashier help other customers politely as they purchased their items. He rang their items up and handed them their purchases... when it came time for me to make my purchase the cashier placed the book on the opposite end of the counter from the register. He told me my price, I handed him my card, he swiped it and handed it back and pointed to my book on the other end of the counter. I think that's poor customer service ESPECIALLY since I witnessed him hand the prior 2 customers their items. This is the very first time I had ever gone into Allegro Music in Peoria and it will DEFINITELY BE the last.

I called the Peoria location on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at approximately 4:30pm in search of a band book for my daughter. I described what I was looking for and was put on hold while the employee checked to see if they had it in stock. Upon returning to the phone, he said they had it and the store was open until 6:30. As I asked other questions about the product, he was completely rude, disrespectful, and demeaning. I have never had such poor customer service! I was shocked at how I was treated. I hung up and called the north Phoenix location. The gentleman that answered the phone was extremely helpful and friendly. In person, as I purchased the book, he was just as friendly. I will NEVER step foot or call the Peoria locaton again! The N. Phoenix location, however, was worth the drive!
