Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and kind staff members--looking out for the customer's needs. Michael was super helpful in explaining things to someone new to guitars. He was understanding, not condescending and approached me with kindness and explained things I might want to know. He asked questions about lifestyle to clarify what I would need in order to be successful in learning to play. In addition, Becky was helpful in making sure not only did I get my questions answered, but we talked about why the musical instruments we grew up with wouldn't be our choices today.

Wanted the strings on my tenor Ukulele changed. Lowest price I could find was $30 plus strings. I thought wow that’s pretty high but decided to go ahead ,but then remembered seeing a Sam Ash Music Stores. Called them and guess what...... THEY CHARGE $15 and a young man named Eddie took care of it while I waited. Great people and great store. Go see them and see a well kept and very uncluttered store and great people to visit with. Blown away by the selection of musical Instruments. Well worth the drive to find good deals. Note.. If you're looking for used instead of new, you might want to hit up guitar center or another music store. Not a whole lot of used instruments at Sam Ash. Great percussion selection.

I've been shopping and buying music equipment at Sam Ash for several years now. Almost always they have had what I wanted; if they didn't have it, they ordered it immediately and I have had it within a week. I have been extremely satisfied with them. Now they have allowed West Valley jazz musicians and singers to come in for two hours on Sunday afternoons and play; most of the time using equipment that can be found at the store. It is exciting for the musicians who end up buying much of the equipment that is used as well as other people who see the instruments being played and realize that they, too can buy the same equipment. I would recommend Sam Ash for any music equipment you might want; their sales people will know what you want and give you the best deal you can ask for.

I needed a few things for an upcoming sound gig and wanted to check out the used gear too. I found a mixer board that had some miles on it but it had 16 inputs and I could really use more inputs (who can't?). The salesman helped me test everyone one of them, which gave me the confidence to buy the board. It was a great price too! Great job everyone at Sam Ash!
