If you are a company looking to hire this collections agency to collect for you think twice. They made me not want to pay back the money I owe. Between how rude and incompetent the manager and workers are really turned me off to wanting to work with them to pay off my debt. They are unprofessional and sound not well put together on the phone. The "manager" (wonder what the qualifications for this position were) repeated the same sentence to me three times when I asked her to rephrase what she was saying to me. I only asked for her to rephrase what she said because the language she used sounded like she was reading from a script? Or was trying to use words she didn't know the true definition to. It was choppy. She couldn't expand on anything outside of that one sentence.. Nonetheless, she failed to communicate to me in a way that was pleasant and clear. She also told me she would investigate information that was told to me inaccurately and call back.. I have yet to receive a call back from her. Her favorite thing to say is "You ARE in collections" No dip..I'm trying to figure this out and get my account paid and closed! Allied, please review how your managers and employees are speaking to us. "Us" as in people that willingly give you our bank information and make faithful payments to pay of debts, people that are humans too, people that have things going on in their life which caused them to be in collections, people that are trying to do the right thing.

Honestly, they arent that bad. They are quick to send requested information, and are firm about the debt owed. But they are just doing their jobs. You cant blame them for you not paying your bills...

This place looks to have a very low rating, but I guess your mileage may vary depending on who you deal with.
Personally, I never had any problems with them contacting me...in fact, I wish they had called me, because I didn't even discover I had an open account with them until I researched my credit report! That's probably my only complaint.
I went in person to their office in Holland to resolve it, since it is near my workplace. The clerk there was respectful and courteous, and resolved my account without any hassle. I was given a proper receipt, and the entire visit took less than 5 minutes.
My visit was roughly halfway between their monthly reporting cycles for the debt. By the time the coming cycle rolled around, the account had been marked as paid and closed on my credit report.
It sounds like most of the low reviews are from people paying over the phone...not sure if a personnel difference there is the cause for the poor experiences. In any case, especially in a business like this where I doubt either end really looks forward to the interactions, I'd recommend giving courtesy first if you'd like to receive it.

I requested documentation, a detailed receipt for a payment I made, twice. I was told it would be sent, twice. It was not sent and I called to follow up three times. I was sent to voice mail and not answered about this issue. I need this payment documentation for tax purposes or else I'l have to pay that back to my FSA, as it is I cannot seek medical treatment because my Flex Spending Card has been blocked until this was handled. The staff are rude, not only when collecting a debt but even after payments have been received. Find better collectors.

Not responsive, call and they are always away from phone. Recorded message says they will call, but no call is returned. Leave email, no return email. I'm trying to pay my bill but they don't seem to care. They have the hammer of credit destruction at the disposal so they don't care. I don't have a choice who I deal with to pay my debt . So I have to put up with them. They have the upper hand. But the should be answerable for the aggravation they cause to the people who have to pay them. Where's the oversight for businesses like this.
