Americoast Mid-Atlantic Medical Equipment

Too many issues to list. Would not give any stars if that was an option. My main complaint is with customer service....beyond horrible. I was intentionally hung up on 4 times!! Still no resolve even after driving to the nearest location (Rosedale office). Thank you "Marty" for listening but no one has followed up even after being told that 2 managers would be calling me. Very disappointed!

When the rental wheelchair was initially delivered to me in rehab, it was not the right size - NOT what had been ordered by PT. It took 2 days to remedy this. When I was finished with the wheelchair, I had to call five times (at 10+ minutes each) before reaching a human to arrange pickup. Today I waited for three hours, but the driver did not show, nor did the driver attempt to phone me. When I called the office to find out where the driver was (another 12 minutes of my life wasted listening to a phone tree), they best they could do was offer me a 3-hour window the next day - but they weren't able to provide a phone number so I could bypass being on hold if the driver was a no-show again. This is inconsiderate to customers - our time is valuable too! They did, to their credit, send someone out the following morning to pick it up.

If I could give a minus-negative five stars, I would. This has got to be the absolute worse and I stress the absolute worse oxygen provider in the country. Why they won the Medicare contract, I will never understand. It is crystal clear that they are understaffed, have low product inventory and are unable to service the contract properly. It is outrageous that I have to be on hold, the disconnected by them, then I have to call them back, so the vicious cycle continues.

Monica is very responsive, helpful, and takes time to explain everything we need to know, even when we repeat the same questions ... she is patient and caring. We love Monica!
