Ample Hills Creamery

Pretty typical ice cream place with about 10 flavors or so. The ice cream is pretty dense and sweet, so even though the large cup looks kinda small, you will feel full and satisfied by it. If you live in the building you can get a discount of 10 percent, and they don't seem to check for proof.

Located right smack in the middle of Gotham West Market, this ice cream shop serves up 12 different flavors, including the obligatory classics like vanilla and chocolate but also more exotic options like their Hell’s Kitchen Sink (chocolate, bourbon and pretzels). I found the Ooey Gooey Butter Cake much too rich, though admittedly I should have seen that one coming; the pistachio was delicious as expected. Staff was friendly and helpful when it came to tastings.

Interesting flavors and good ice cream, but a bit pricey. I assume the flavors switch often (there was a flavor named after the Royal wedding), so that would keep it feeling fresh.

I saw a good bunch of "meh" reviews and wanted to contradict the haters, but found myself feeling similar. For the price I expected Coldstone or Oddfellows but got fairly standard fare ice cream. Flavors were interesting but all so sweet they blended together.

Not bad, more choice and probably a better price by going with Ben and Jerry’s. Expected better than shop bought though at this price
