Applebee’s Grill + Bar

Tonight 3/23/18 experience was amazing. My adoptive family and I went in when it was packed and where the handicapped parking is on the opposite side the entrance, we used the carryout door. She cannot walk very well so I asked how long to be seated, was told a 25 min wait time and they allowed us to sit by the restrooms until a close table opened up, and it was not a long wait. We were seated and our server was excellent!! Kept us laughing and our drinks constantly refilled. He also kept our supply of lemons for tea and snackage on tap. Food was on point as well, but was sad the appetizer sizes have shrunk since my last visit. He earned his tip plus a lovely napkin thank you note. GREAT JOB TONIGHT!!

Took a while to get drinks and order in for food. Some food came out before appetizers. Potatoes were barely warm she got new ones they were so hot they burnt my tongue. Kept forgetting things. I still tipped good. Everyone has a bad day. I thought they got a little extreme when heating potatoes as if it was intentionally done. 🙁

Only ever come here for thr half priced apps and it's great! The service is always super good. My bf likes coming for the drink of the month because they're super cheap. Great place for college students in a budget.

I guess depending on the day and time that you go to eat makes a big difference in a rating. But my last few experiences have been on a weekday late evening and they were out of steaks and out of this and that, and they never offered to accommodate the issue or price change which we thought was odd. But overall food wasn't bad.

Server took a long time to come to the table. Didn't tell us the specials and didn't tell me when I ordered Diet Come that they had Pepsi products so I would have switched to unsweetened tea. Average food. Not bad, but nothing spectacular based how how expensive the prices are compared to similar chain establishments. Food was warm, not hot like it had been in the window. Tasted ok. Ordered dessert. The wait was super long for that. I am a reasonable person, but I don't understand why it took so long today and she brought me the wrong dessert.
