Regardless of how good the doctors maybor may not be, the scheduling staff can’t do they’re job very well. I was told my appointment was 20 minutes later when I booked my appointment than for what they scheduled me for. They told me I had to reschedule & I am a new patient who booked this appointment over a month ago. I will not be coming back as I prefer not to deal with incompetencey.

Today I met Dr. Pilkington for the first time. Very friendly and organized front desk staff. I was seen right on time. Dr. Pilkington was very polite, friendly & professional. He listened to me carefully. Examined my sinuses, throat, and hearing thoroughly. For my hearing concern he referred me to an Audiologist in his office. She also was very friendly, polite & professional. Then I met him again. He answered all of my questions without being rushed. Highly Highly recommend him.

This place is the most unethical and unorganized establishment I have ever seen. How they are still able to practice medicine I have no idea. Called to verify that they were in network for my insurance provider...they said yes. So I made an appointment. At check in, gave them my ID and insurance card...they verified that I was in network. Scheduled a procedure with them...verified by phone and letter that they were in network and that there was zero patient responsibility. They verified a second time, (procedure date was postponed.)...still all good. After the procedure was done, they then told me that they were out of network and that I have to pay out of pocket. Who in the world would set out to get a $30k procedure done out of network when they have full coverage healthcare? No one. That's who. They scammed me to get business and Joe they will never get paid. Shame on you Spagnolli for allowing your office to operate in such corrupt and malicious ways. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. DO NOT USE THIS ESTABLISHMENT FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE COMPLIMENTARY HAND SANITIZER IN THE WAITING ROOM.

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT GO HERE. I had a tonsillectomy surgery scheduled back in March for April 27th. I went through the pre-op appointment, pre-surgery screening and and received a call the day before that my surgery was cancelled. (These things happened and are understandable.) But, the scheduler told me that the doctors first available appointment would be 3 weeks from them. I was on a medical leave so I begged them to ask the surgeon to bump me to the following week. They called me back and told me that he was available the following Tuesday (today). GREAT...until VA Hospital center called me this afternoon to ask me why my original surgery was postponed. I told them that Arlington ENT was not doing a good job at communicating with me and asked them to please call them and confirm my surgery. 5 minutes later I get a call from the so called office manager Carmen in, may I mention, the rudest tone I've ever received on a phone call telling me that my surgery is cancelled and they need to reschedule it. No apologies for the inconvenience, no acknowledgement, no problem solving and trying to get me in with another doctor. (said that's against their policy) Just said that she had to reschedule. After giving her my honest opinion about their poor customer service I told Carmen that it would probably be best for me to look for another doctor and her response was to hang up me. Spare your time, money, and mental sanity and go another E, N &T doctor in the area. Especially if you are a working professional depending on your paid time off or medical leave to get surgery done, you cannot depend on these people.
