Articulate Bodies - A Boutique Pilates and Movement Studio

Simply the BEST quality instruction! I love Articulate Bodies!!! Je-an Salas Leavens is a brilliant teacher who is constantly working to develop what is already a deep and expert level of knowledge and skill with respect to Pilates and movement generally. Her classes and lessons are exceptional, as are all of the other teachers' classes at Articulate Bodies. This studio has something for everyone of all ages and fitness levels. I have been attending lessons and classes for 4 years, and I can't imagine going without. I have a repetitive strain injury and a very demanding job that is hard on my posture. The teachers at Articulate Bodies have helped me to manage these challenges and significantly improve my strength and posture!

Working with Je-an at Articulate Bodies is such a joy. Every time I leave the studio, I feel much more aligned, a little bit taller and very refreshed. She is exceptionally knowledgable about the anatomy of the body and how it should all work together. She addresses all of my physical restrictions and problem areas with optimism and curiosity, and is constantly helping me find the root of my problems. No amount of physiotherapy or massage has ever made the same positive impact on my body. I'm so grateful!

Articulate Bodies is a wonderful Pilates studio. Gillian Garneau teaches expertly with tons of individual attention and genuine caring. My physical strength and flexibility are improving greatly and I feel so happy after each class! The space is light-filled and location so convenient. I highly recommend this studio.

Articulate Bodies in the most welcoming and friendly studio I have had the pleasure of frequently attending. Je-an Salas-Leavens has put together a group of instructors who have a common care for each individual and their specific needs, which brings a beautiful harmony to their practice. For many years I have be guided by Je-an, throughout my career as a professional ballet dancer and now after I have retired. Her exceptional expertise and interpersonal insight into movement has allowed me to develop beyond strength and injury prevention. Her knowledge and understanding has benefited clients of all levels and needs. You will find the moment you enter Articulate Bodies you will feel right at home and surrounded by friends. I have the privilege of knowing the place where the heart of Toronto lies.

The teachers are expert. I came with back and shoulder pain and after regular classes I am pain free. I could not be more enthusiastic about how excellent this studio is.
