Pilates North

only if google has an option to give out 6 stars out of 5 I absolutely love this place!! I started going to Pilates North after my back-to-back pregnancy and I have not worked out in 4 years. My instructor for barre and coreball, Lisa, motivated me to do more than I ever thought I could (which is exactly what i needed). Even though these are group classes, all of us felt as if we got a personal trainer and all of this is because of how much attention Lisa paid to each and everyone of us. Being a mother of two young kids, I feel a lot healthier and confident in myself after attending Pilates North, and I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a healthy change!

I have been going to Pilates North for over 3 years now.  I have had the experience to try many different classes and have had many different  instructors and they have never disappointed. I started attending classes once a week and now I attend three a week. My experience at Pilates North has been amazing. Having to deal with a major back issue each instructor has taken the time to help me understand what works for me and what doesn't.  From the customer service,  to the instructors, to the classes, I give them all 5 stars. I have never seen or been to a studio that is just so great!

Amazing place! Such a great atmosphere. You can tell that everyone who works there really enjoys thier job. All the trainers are excellent and they are always making sure to be aware of your injuries etc. If you require more customized classes they offer private sessions in lieu of classes. I was apprehensive at first to start at "beginner" level as I am an active person but you really do need to learn the basics and understand your body before progressing properly. They really know what they are doing- you have to trust thier system. I have been going for over two years, twice a week. Such diverse class offerings - something for everyone. I love this studio and will continue to refer my friends and family.

I have been a physiotherapist working for eight years in the Richmond Hill area and have personally referred many patients to Pilates North. They are an extremely reputable Pilate’s studio with highly qualified instructors offering challenging, fun classes for all levels. Their knowledge and experience in functional movements and core stabilization, and their ability to accommodate exercises for patients recovering from injuries is why they continue to be my top choice for anyone looking for continued rehabilitation or overall well-being!

Was not informed that assessment had a cost when I booked it over the phone. Got surprised with a hundred dollar invoice upon leaving. Last I checked that's called a private, not an assessment. It also means that you should give me exercises for my body, not a preset list you have for your assessment. The attitude at front desk seemed more oriented toward serving the studio than serving the client. Instead of finding solutions this person was looking to find barriers to my getting questions answered.
