Artillery Ridge Campground Gettysburg Horse Park

I loved Artillery Ridge Campground!! It was our first time there and we got so lucky they had an opening for Memorial Day weekend. Everyone there was so kind and so nice, we felt welcome immediately! My family and friend - we couldn’t get over how nice they were!!! We kept saying how nice everyone was there the whole time!!!! Every single staff member!! They had a free pool, free mini golf, basketball courts, corn hole, and a catch and release pond. For the Memorial Day weekend they had lined up and planned all of these amazing activities and DJ and live band and balloon twister and magic show and so much more!! We rented a campsite and we got so lucky and it was next to the bathhouse and laundry and sink to clean cooking 🍳 supplies. It was an amazing weekend get away and for such a great price!!! Located down the street from the Gettysburg National Historic Visitors Center and downtown. We even got free passes to three museums which was great - but I don’t know if that was a Memorial Weekend special! They had such clean facilities and I can’t think of anything that we were unhappy with! It was a lovely time - we will definitely be going back!

Good for what it is. Not very pretty (as far as nature views) and not much grass, but very convenient location to gettysburg. Fair price. Good playground and fun activities for the kids. Passport America and Good Sam member.

stayed over memorial day. When I called to make a reservation, the women I spoke to was more then friendly and helpful. At check in, they were very organized and quick, and VERY friendly. The campground is large. We were near the horse stables. Ive stayed at campgrounds with bigger sites, but the would not deter me from going again. Campground is nicely kept. Its not perfect but they do a good job keeping up. Wonderful for horse lovers! And very close to All things Gettysburg. Thank you for fitting us in!!!

Great camp ground / RV park- and walking distance to the visitor centre and battlefields. Very good amenities, hot water. Didn’t use the laundry but looks good. Great feeling about the park- several Boy Scout groups visiting too. Horses are accommodated. Friendly staff and good wifi. Highly recommend

We really like this campground. Easy to get to, reasonably priced, convenient to all things in Gettysburg. Would be great if they had cable so we could at least get more than NBC and public television.
