Atwood's Tavern

Ok, this is a very specific, very unique review. I love this place but its because its unique and unlike many other locations, and super unique for photographing small to medium weddings. It is a wonderful mix of comfort meets grungy meets modern and simple. I have photographed two weddings here and had a great time. That is mainly because the space fits the personality of both couples I photographed. They offer 3 pretty incredible AirBNB spaces upstairs for wedding couples as well. Check it out if you dig an alternative semi Bohemian style for your city wedding.

Our family went here to celebrate 2 birthdays this October. The service was very good & the food was delicious! The sweet potato fries were the best I have ever eaten. We ordered a beef burger, blue fish sandwich & a turkey burger pictured & drinks. Definitely would like to eat here again!

I went to the Atwood Tavern tonight for the first time to see Hazel Royer & Ira Klein. They played a nice mix of folky classics with a hint of jazz. The music was top notch and the musicianship was excellent including a special guest on lap steel and lead guitar. The sound engineer did a great job with the mix and volume, the staff at the door and the host/wait staff were professional and kind. I had the Udon Noodles, which tasted good, but a little over salted. Overall a fantastic night, great music, and a great bar / venue.

Didn't eat here, but great bar drinks & bar service. My martini glass was chilled correctly, something you don't get regularly we are not animals!. The barman was attentive & quick. Great atmosphere too. Will go for dinner now that I know they care, and care they do! Nice work ..

Love this spot! The food and beer selection is fantastic, staff is wonderful, and the ambiance is warm and inviting. They always have stellar entertainment and a good crowd.

They did a great job renovating the inside, still feels the same but better made. The outside is still the bomb. They have a fully functional/heated bathroom that is only for the outdoor seating! Best outdoor seating in Greater Boston!

Tasty food and a cozy atmosphere.

Big fan of this joint. Good beer selection, pretty tasty cocktails, highly recommend the honey mustard wings, and the grilled cheese add bacon.

Great beer selection. They have high quality local, regional, national, and global beers on tap. I Love the beautiful patio in the back! Feels like a hidden little Oasis in the city
