Bid and bought an item on-line from Auction Kings. Picked it up today. It was not complete and the condition was inaccurate. It listed item as in excellent condition. Item was incomplete and in less than fair condition! On-line buyers BEWARE!

I bid and won bottles of Cologne. Told them I would pick o.o the item because they tried to overcharge for shipping. When I showed up to the auction he was not there for 5 days which was contrary to his sign on the door. I made over 15 attempts to contact the auction with no response. I contacted auction zip To assist me in contacting them and they were unable to contact them as well. The original auction was in February and just a couple days ago Several months later I get a phone call with the owner threatening me. I would not buy from this company , and recommend to anyone else To be cautious when dealing with this company.

Last November & December i bought items from auction kings on line auction. 1st was perfumes one bottle ( around 40.00) was different from what was shown on line & was broken and empty . It had to have been broken outside of the box then repacked because the box was not stained nor did the package have a strong smell when i opened it. 2nd i bought a glass sculpture face (around 85.00) which was stated to be in ex cond. The face had hairline cracks on the lips & base. I emailed auction kings a couple of times & even called & left messages. It took around 3 weeks before i heard anything & someone named Steve left a message on my home phone. Steve was firm stating i could not buy anymore from them (like i would trust them after this) he also said for me to ship this back to them & i would be refunded selling price, buyers prem, and shipping. Its now almost 6 months later & i have heard nothing. I have called several times, written emails, sent a letter, & talked to auctionzip . I sent package back & have the stub of who signed for it so i know it got there. Iam out over 150.00 plus another 50.00 in 2 shippings because this company is full of GREEDY LIARS. I live on a small amount of money i get thru social security & try to make alittle selling items i buy thru auctions. Anyone who buys or is thinking of buying from a on line auction house Steer Clear of the auction king auction house in Tampa. Iam not the only person who has been taken by this company there are others on line & if you have had a bad experience with them please share your stories. 6/7/17 Just want to add a update iam still waiting no word or money yet. I guess it hard to open that tight fist once you con people out of their money. Remember what goes around comes around.

Received items damaged in April 2014. We went through trying to get the refund from April 2014 until January 2015. Owner would ignore my numerous phone calls and texts month after month. Promised we'd get the refund the next day, several times. Finally received our money after WE sent Auction Kings a money request through paypal. Would most definitely not bid on anything with this company again. Very poor customer service. --added later: The owner just called me on a blocked number, threatening to "exploit" me. Whatever that means. Said he was giving me 30 minutes to remove my reviews. Giving ultimatums isn't a very good business practice.
