I have been to many of the auctions in person and have had nothing but a good time while bidding on items. They make it fun and you never know what kinds of deals you can end up with. You have to definitely be there to experience the atmosphere that the staff creates during these live auctions. This is how I feel when attending the auctions in person. The online bidding is something I feel you can do if you see something you really like or need but you can't attend the auction in person. But by my experience online you must do yourselves a favor and research the item as much as you can because without actually seeing the item in person you are relying on a quick and short description from what they believe the condition the item is in. Not on purpose by Bay Area Auctions because of the short time they have to list up to hundreds of items, they do their best but descriptions could not be enough to know exactly what your bidding on as you would if you were there in person. The one thing I do know is that They do try to do their best because they have proved to me that they do care about their customers. Thanks for some good work Greg.

I suggested wrong. I am honest as I can be on my experience and in my reviews. Bay Area did contact me back and is willing to work with us to try and fix the miscommunication that we had during the online bidding. I am happy that Greg contacted me back. Like I've said before I have had nothing but good things to say about Bay Area Auctions due to the fact that I personally was present at the Auctions that I wanted to bid in. This was my first time actually bidding online and there was a misunderstanding. I thought Bay Area was going to do like some other places would have done and say tough luck, your lose and see ya. But Greg stood up for them and is helping a long time customer like me out. I know other people just wouldn't care. But I am happy we were able to work it out. I will continue to do business with Bay Area Auctions because they showed me that they do care about their customers. I am proof of that. I will continue to post honest experiences. If I am wrong at first I will admit it and fix it as soon as possible. Thanks Greg. I have come to appreciate Bay Area Auctions for their customer service.

We have been going to Bay Area Auctions for a few years now and have found both the pre-bid and on line services to be very accurate and easy to use. We have also used the pre viewing service on site to determine which items to bid on. I highly recommend doing this as some items aren't posted for on line bidding due to list size limitations and are exceptional values. The staff and owners care about their customers and work hard to address any issues and questions you may have. An excellent place to do business with. 5 stars! Attend an auction for great deals, food and a good time.

My husband Don Davidson and I have been going to this auction house for over 15 years and we can't say enough nice things. This is a family owned and run business that prides themselves on running a caring and quality business in a field where that has become uncommon anymore. Employees have been there a long time- which is always a sign of an excellent business- turnover is low. They are fair and understanding when conflicts arise and do their best to resolve things evenly for all parties. The women in the front office are funny, sweet and friendly.
