Austin Classic Watch & Jewelry

Austin Class Watch and Jewelry is the last place I'd recommend taking a watch. I had used them to service my Rolex Datejust before and everything was fine so I assumed they were reliable. However, when I gave them my Rolex 50th anniversary Sub everything changed. I was adamant about not polishing the watch and keeping its original condition - I only wanted the movement serviced. When I picked up the watch, it had been HEAVILY polished which single handedly reduces the value of the watch by several thousand dollars. I will never let them touch another one of my watches.

I’ve had a watch there now that it’s been waiting for repair for over two years. I think they’re under new management things have changed for the worse

Terrible experience here. I knew of the bad reviews but bought the Groupon anyway, as I wanted to get a couple of low-cost gold plated necklaces repaired. I was told it would be a week because they needed to order a part, so I waited a week and then called them to make sure they were ready. They NEVER answered their phone and their voicemail box was full, so I couldn't leave a message. I waited another week and went back to the store thinking surely the necklaces are ready by now. Nope. They still didn't have the part, so I made the trip for nothing. I finally was able to pick them up a few weeks later and literally the day after I wore one of the necklaces, it broke in the SAME spot they fixed. Seriously, don't bother with this place, it's not worth saving a few bucks!

Go here if you're looking for a watch. They will take great care of you and stop at nothing to make sure you're satisfied. Customer service from Kerby is on another level!
