Yeah, the construction is a pain, but I was pleasantly surprised with the process to find a new unit to move into. They waived the transfer fee if you stayed in the building or within an Avalon Bay community, and David in the leasing office was so much help.
AVA is great!. We especially had a great experience with the maintenance team, Adrian and Pedro! They were very quick to respond to our request and solved the issue with our refrigerator promptly. We had a brand new fridge in the apartment within a week of our issue being reported. Thanks, Adrian and Pedro!
The walls of this apartment are paper thin, the complex is overpriced even for this area, and there is endless construction. Not the worst place to live, but I think it largely depends on your unit. I would not consider moving in here until the construction is finished.
