The Avis location in Albuquerque Crown Plaza has horrible service. The vehicle was dirty, had a small dent, and the Bluetooth did not work. I was also overcharged for gas when I already filled it up. Also I am a preferred customer and should not have to show ID and credit card as it should of been a faster experience when picking up the vehicle, there was no one at the desk for 30min when I arrived at 10:30am And when you drop off the vehicle they fail to tell you that you must also write down the mileage when returning it. It was literally the worst customer service with Avis I have ever experienced.
I have used Avis at this location several times! It has been very easy and the customer service is great!! Thank you for making this situation as smooth as possible
HORRIBLE COMPANY! YOU CANT EVEN TALK TO A REAL HUMAN when you call! and even though they put a local phone number down on their site, it goes thru to the 800 #. HORRIBLE PEOPLE!
Worst rental car experience ever. Arrived at 10 p.m. after flight from Europe and rerouted flight from Denver, rather tired. It took 2 hours to get the car we had rented from Europe. We had rented for 42 days, maximum rental period is 30 days, usually we do this at least twice each year we get two contracts. This time we were told that this is no longer done, a simple phone call after 30 days would do and they would extend the rental period. After 30 days we tried to call, but for 12 hours our calls to Albuquerque were routed to the main 800 number where we were told that we would need to contact Albuquerque. At 10 p.m., Albuquerque answered the phone. We were, very rudely, told that we would need to go to Albuquerque to extend the rental. We were 1000 miles away at this time. Fortunately, we found a very helpful Avis subsidiary an Bloomington, IN, were a very competent and helpful lady worked for two hours on extending our agreement and was successful
Very poor customer service at this location. We called Avis customer service part way through our trip after noticing that the oil in our rental needed to be changed soon. They directed us to go to the Crown Plaza location, which was very convenient. When we arrived the door was closed with a sign indicating we should knock. We did and could hear someone on the phone. Sounded like a personal call. She yelled back to just put the keys in the slot if we were returning our vehicle. We let her know that we had a problem with our rental. She immediately said it wasn't her problem and told us to go to another location. She as rude and unhelpful. Didn't even act like she cared. I have never had such poor customer service. She didn't even offer to call another location to ensure we could get help there. Even if she as unable to help by switching vehicles....she had an opportunity to provide customer service and potentially get a great review. That unfortunately didn't happen. I would strongly recommend not renting from this location.
The rental pick up went pretty smoothly. I made the reservation via Costco about a month ago. We walked in a little before 12, had to wait a few minutes till 12 for the system to let us process at the right rates, not a problem. The car was waiting for us in the lot and was clean. The only downside was that the Costco deal includes a free upgrade but we were told that they didn't have inventory at that location.
Airport location is the worst for customer service I have ever seen in my life. However, Crowne Plaza , where I was sent was great. Loretta really helped me out and was amazing. she should receive a raise for what she does at her location!
Kicked me out of the office and told me to wait in the lobby cause I was a frontline nurse. Lady was rude, disrespectful, didn’t care that my car I rented at this location had an engine light. Worst rental experience in my traveling career. Especially when I’m far from home helping the local community out. It was unbelievable. I would give negative stars if it existed.
I only gave them 3 stars because I was able to get a car last minute when Hertz screwed me over. The car was dirty, inside and out. Fluids started running out during my trip windshield washer and oil. When I returned the car, I could not breath I have a lung condition sho I was leaning on thre counter with my head down trying to breath and the girl said, "I need you to have a mask on if you're going to be in here." No, are you okay or anything. And for this I paid over $550 dollars for a week.
It was a good price for the rental, everyone was very nice. The only thing I was a bit uncomfortable with was rep didn't come out with me for car and there was some damage to the car. He said it was ok, but it still made me nervous
