AWIN Advanced Auto Body

Went there because BMW Autohaus recommended it, and I realized it is a bad idea right after I dropped the car at the body shop. The service rep told me that they can not start working on the car and it has to wait at least 2 or 3 weeks. I told them I don't want to wait that long and want to change to a different body shop, then the service rep refused to give my car back just because the car is leased and he claimed that BMW owns it and I must get it repaired at AWIN. After talk to the insurance company and the bodyshop manager Dan, they told me they can start it as soon as the insurance company finished the appraisal, so I left the car there. The car was not heavily damaged, but AWIN returned the car 50 days after I drop it at the body shop. The service rep said they ordered the side mirror 3 times and always got the wrong parts. I don't know how hard it could be to order the part internally(AWIN claimed that they are under the same company as BMW Autohaus) and how long it takes to get a part shipped from BMW Autohaus to their location(about 5 km distance), but I waited at least 2 weeks for them to get the correct parts. During the waiting time, I tried to call AWIN several times to get the status update of my car, and most of the time, the answer is "I don't know", "Maybe next week, but there is no guarantee". When I asked how long they can get the correct part, the rep told me he didn't know and asked me to call BMW to check with the parts department, and hang up the phone. It was a totally nightmare for the experience, and I will try to avoid any further services with them.

Please Don't AWIN is a partner with the Volvo Villa retailer, and not an authorized body shops from Volvo Canada. I brought in my Volvo XC 90 2017 on June 26, 2017 the estimated day was to have it back by July 19 but the work did not start til July 11 I got my car back on Aug 2nd BUT what a disappointment there where 4 problems with the car at that day, they fix 2 on the spot and I had to bring it back for the other 2 issues. when I was inspecting the vehicle the 2nd time I noticed that the paint start peeling and the bumper is not aligned so I had to bring it back for the 3rd time and it stayed there for a couple of days, went home and noticed another problem so I had to bring it back for the 4th time Please see picture up til now the bumper is not aligned but they said that is the maximum that they can do although it is a brand new bumper Please read the rest of reviews on Google

DO NOT GO TO AWIN BODY SHOP. Over estimated price and it took more than 7 weeks to fix my car and the car was not even fully fixed. I was forced to rent a car for a long time and AWIN will not care about the outbalance. This old man, Tullio helped me but he is super not helpful.

Had to bring my car back 4 times. And one of the times was because the car was scratched in THEIR underground parking garage. The worst experience. I gave 2 stars because they were nice enough to give me a rental while they fixed their mistakes......then again the rental company was terrible.

Very over Priced estimates comparing to other BMW collision center. Don't even waste your time to go there. Staff are so rude.
