Baba Java Roaster & Cafe

Have been looking for a true coffee shop! Real coffee cups. Real comfortable. Locally roasted. Really nice people. Glasses for water readily available. Wifi password on the receipt. The REAL deal. Not the "put in a to-go, want to push you out the door quickly" place. They enjoy their jobs, & their customers! Really glad I came here & will be back soon! Lattes are DELICIOUS & orange roll is mouthwatering!

Drove by here a couple times and today decided to stop on in. I tried their Pumpkin Spice Iced Latte, and it was delicious! They use a homemade syrup that pairs perfectly with their fresh cold coffee! The vibe here is very relaxing and friendly! One of the best in the area!

Another favorite coffee place. This one because it’s close to my home and the people and their passion about coffee and the coffee shop experience. This time I met w/ my lady Ms. Bonnie and we got the lemon blueberry scone and orange cranberry scones. Bonnie is a breve chic and I had a matcha latte. There were just a few moments of silence as we mmmmm’d those scones away! And every time I visit here, it’s so productive!! Bread and his peeps Sure make it feel like home!

My go-to coffee stop when I’m in the area. Wonderful service, the staff has always been pleasant and welcoming. Whether you customize a basic or have one of their signature drinks or teas, so far everything my husband and I have tried has been delicious. It is also a great place to get some work done, the tables are perfect in terms of size. Weird to say but it’s important I promise!

The atmosphere and service are great. The coffee, though, is below average. I ordered flat-white, the milk was not steamed properly, it has a water texture!

Just met a friend here for coffee; was my first time going. Had THE BEST dirty chai I’d ever tasted & the service was AMAZING. Everybody genuinely seemed to enjoy being there! I highly recommend!

Baba Java loves coffee and it shows. This local spot serves some of the best coffee in Birmingham. What makes them special is their beans, sourced from Ethiopia, China, Papa New Guinea and other countries around the globe and then roasted here in Birmingham. Their lattes are great but my suggestion is to get a pour over or americano to really enjoy the flavor of these great beans!

Baba Java Coffee shop is a wonderful new coffee shop. They call it a "Roaster and Cafe." They source and roast their own coffee beans. In addition to excellent coffee there is a variety of baked goods and other foods available. I must say it is an excellent cup of java and the apple strudel was very good as well. This was my first visit and I love the place. The store is a clean well lighted place. The service is friendly and ready to serve you with a smile I highly recommend Baba Java! 3/5/22 Stopped in again today and this is still a top notch coffee house. 8/6/22 I just have to say; this is the best café latè to be had anywhere in Birmingham. Excellent!

Got a latte with a shot of vanilla. I’ve been in Birmingham for about 6 months and go to various cafes in search for good espresso. Thought I had found the best place and then I just happened to stop by here before my nail appointment next door. Baba has taken the #1 spot. Absolutely DELICIOUS!

Iced Camel Latte . Ran by Baba Java today, I've been here before...but today blew my mind. I didn't have a sip of my coffee until I sat in my car. I got out of my vehicle and went back inside, to tell them how fantastically amazing my drink was. You should go here and drink coffee or tea because it is excellent! The shop is open and nice. Very clean, quite environment for your experience.
