Good place to stop and eat Colombian food, fruits and bakery.
If you're craving TRES LECHES TORTA CAKE, this is the place to get it. I've tried three different places in a week because I got obsessed with it and just out of those three, this was the best. The bottom layer is saturated so well that this has turned into a custard like consistency. This is the texture I love. All of this, the tres leches middle filling, light whipped creme layer, and a sponge top cake, makes for a really great desert. Have some Colombian coffee with no sugar and you'll have a sweet time. This is really great. It's about $4 which is about market price. Haven't had their entrees but people do go there to eat so it seems legit for a super casual spot like pollos Mario's but more chill. They offer different types of tea too in different sizes and close late like 11pm!
They offer a good variety of bread. There is one called 'alineado' that is very delicious. It is just simple bread but has a good taste. And it is enough for 2 people or maybe 3 and is just $2. They offer hot food for lunch. Soups are delicious especially the 'Ajiaco' but chicken and other entrees need to have more flavor.
Amazing baked empanadas! Best in the neighborhood. Highly recommend the chicken. Great customer service as well. The cashier once saw me eyeing some cookies and she gave me a bag for free. They were delicious!
Excellent place to have lunch or early dinner, the environment can get crowded on rush hours but it is quite good. The amount of food and prizes are awesome. Be sure that the food is warm enough, sometimes is not. And don’t use the toilet is not clean at all.
So far one of the best colombian bakery/eateries I've been to. The empanadas are fresh and flavorful. My favorite is the spinach empanada, so good! The coffee is perfection. Ive tried a few of the antojitos, and everything has been delicious. I'd go there every day if I could!
Baked empanadas were very good. Better to come here than a fast food spot for lunch. Pan con queso was excellent. This ppace has a lot of seating. Want to try their breakfast. Has juices too. Cholados.
Had the chicken, and Spinach empanadas along with one galleta cookie. It was delicious, cheap, authentic recommended by some of the locals I was speaking with, and filling. Only thing I didn't like was that it was unclear where to leave my tray. I asked two different people who told me to give it to the other person.
Great Place to go and eat fresh pastry. YUMMY, YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY
I waited for more than 10 min for someone to get me a cup of coffee and an empanada... The 3 ladies that were working at the time, Only took care of the customers on the lunch line.... Maybe, because they were getting a bigger tip.? Who knows....?
