It’s a very cool and clean Latino bakery. It’s always playing 70’s to 90’s songs. They have a lot of dessert options. I have ordered different flavors of tea, but doesn’t matter which one you choose they taste the same the use a cheap brand called Bigelow. The pan de bono is good but they never have it specially if you go at night around 7:45-8pm. But overall it’s a good place to seat and have a quick snack.
Very good variety of desserts and bread. La Rosca de guayaba is delicious and the fruit pies are very good too.
There's a reason why there's often a line to get a treat here. They are legitimately an excellent bakery/coffee shop/small snacks location. Totally Colombian btw. Nice. Clean. Room to sit down and enjoy your treat.
I can’t tell any specific name of the bread I got cause I can’t read it. BUT I really recommend this place! All the breads I got tastes good which I’m super surprised and they are super cheap. The Tres Leches cake was outstanding with a balanced, rich flavor.
I had beef empanada, which has thick and crispy dough! Braised beef inside tasted great! A lady who took care of me was really nice also :
Blown away by the empanadas. Crunchy fried with lots of meat and great sauce provided. It was a very hot day and they had really nice and cool AC inside. It was busy but seemed very organized and I was not rushed. The workers were very nice and kindly explained to me the different empanada options. Love this place !
This Colombian cafe offers a wide variety of baked goods and snacks. I visited them for the first time a few weeks ago. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the mouth-watering smell of melted butter and sugar. The pera caught my eye, with its bright pink color and dessicated coconuts which I love. I'll be honest and say that ordering was a bit of a challenge for me, as the place was noisy and the employee who helped me primarily spoke Spanish, which I'm not even close to being fluent in. Luckily, a fellow customer was happy to help out and the employee was friendly and patient. I learned that pera is a pastry that is filled with guava paste, and coated with red syrup and dessicated coconuts. I enjoyed it. It was a pretty good size and the price was decent. They have many other items under $3 too.
The best place in NY to have pan de Bono i just love it, in general the place is very good
Fresh Colombian baked goods amidst a hodgepodge of eclectic decor. Busy on weekends but a very reasonable wait.
Good atmosphere, good hot cappuccino with a treat on the side, this Spanish coffee place is awesome!
