Reserved this room for louder than life festival. No extra pillows available. Entry leaked water all weekend after the rain. Air conditioner in room saturated carpet. Bathroom had no exhaust fan. No smoke detector. Elevator had no certificate of safety and operation. Luggage carts were old and didn't steer well. Room was quiet. Beds were comfortable. White linens had no stains. Shower curtain was too short. Water got everywhere. Breakfast was good. Morning weekend staff was incredible! Lobby was clean.
This place is absolutely disgusting! We are rewards members and booked it. Was greeted first by a man outside talking to himself. Then proceeded to make comments to me. We called front desk after entering room to get different room. The front desk clerk said she couldn’t do it. We left right away and luckily we were able to get the rewards people to put us up in a different hotel. The rooms are dirty and stinking and very outdated. I did not feel safe and I was not allowing my 3 year old to stay in those conditions. Don’t waste your time here.
This establishment has definitely gone down hill. We did not book here but we're re-directed here after our initial hotel over booked. No ice machine. No vending machine. Not a great breakfast at all. Weak coffee. The overall upkeep has slipped significantly.Rooms: 2/5
Room was dirty, there was a spring poking out of mattress, and no coffee maker in room. Ice machine broken. Only decaf coffee available in lobby, limited breakfast items and they were not tasty at all. Would not recommend this hotel and I can’t believe it’s a Baymont. Rooms: Dirty, bed spring broken, no coffee maker in room Food and drinks: Only decaf coffee available, breakfast is very limited and not good at all.
We booked this hotel relatively last minute for Bourbon and Beyond, and we were pretty disappointed. The room when you walked in smelled really musty, there was a crack between the wall and the floor where insulation was poking through, there was a crack in the flooring of the bathroom along with a hole behind the toilet. The kleenex cover fell off as soon as I pull one out, there was no hair dryer, and when I asked for one they told me they didn't have one and when I questioned it I was given an exasperated sigh as they went back and found one. The fridge wasn't on but we didnt realize that until our food went bad, and when we turned it on it froze everything. The towels and sheets had stains on them, and on the last night of our stay we found two cockroaches on the floor. The tub was clogged. Would not recommend unless you have no other option.
If you're looking for a place to stay, don't stay here. We did not get room service during the four days we had stayed, food was bland and caused me to throw up, the walls are thin between rooms, the blankets are thin and stained, then to top it all off our water was shut off in our room on the last morning of our stay. No showers or flushing the toilet! Rooms: No room service, dirty/thin blankets, water was shut off Food and drinks: Bland, made me throw up
Been staying here for the better part of a month. It's usually the cheapest hotel or even motel in the area. For the price, it has a lot more to offer than comparable hotels. For Example: Breakfast, Pets are allowed, Fridge & Microwave in every room & a pool. RedRoof next door charges $5 extra for a fridge and microwave!? I didn't realize that was standard? Maybe it's not? Anyway. I was in a 2nd floor room and the room was much nicer, cleaner, had more lighting & had much more of a sound barrier than the room I'm in currently on the first floor. Any time I go to the desk for toiletries, extra towels or pillows, it's been no problem. I've not noticed smoke smells or anything like that in either room. Location in Louisville is a nicer area of town. My only complaint is that the pool isn't open yet. I was here for memorial Day weekend, when it was supposed to open. I was told it would be open the following Sunday but that's come and gone and unfortunately, I haven't really noticed anyone trying to get the water up to code. The morning shift front desk Employee, a friendly, tan woman, who's always smiling is a true asset to this hotel. Hopefully the people running this place know that! Nearby activities: The 1 mile portion of Hurstbourne lane that this hotel is situated off of is packed with restaurants of all price points and basically every type of cuisine anyone could be craving. There's activities like a "break out" room, A Malibu Jacks & a movie theater. Shopping for everyone's interest; 5 below, Goodwill, Half price books, GameStop, Hobbie shops, Target, Home Depot. Walkability: Walking distance to many diners, fast food, grocery store, gas station ect.
Probably the worst place I have ever stayed in my life. I’m a Rewards Member and booked through the website. On the website this location looked really nice. Well those photos were fake. This place is falling in on itself. It’s also not a hotel: it’s an old, decrepit motel where every room door opens to the outside: NOT safe. Even though it says “100% smoke free,” my room REEKED of cigarette smoke. I had done a “pay now and save” option on the Wyndham web site, but when I got there the desk clerk told me it was not prepaid and ran my card AGAIN, PLUS charged me an additional $40 “deposit.” I’ve stayed at Baymont properties before and had a good experience. Not this time. The pictures will tell the story. This place should be razed to the ground. Rooms: Terrible. Falling apart. Dirty. Reeked of smoke. No closet or ANY PLACE to hang up shirts. Safety: I did not feel safe at all. The property is in a sketchy part of town and the doors all open to the outside. Noteworthy details: I posted a pic of the faded, stained tray on the vanity that said “Matrix.” Was there Matrix, or any shampoo for that matter? No, only the tiny shard of soap you see. There’s something in the shower that looks like it used to be a dispenser of some sort, long since neglected. The same can be said of the entire place: long since neglected. The air conditioner was dirty, made terrible noises, and would not shut off. When I stepped outside I was hit with the unmistakable smell of marijuana smoke. At 9:00 AM. Classy.
We checked in with a huge group! We all checked out not even an hour after we checked in. Rooms smelt like an ash tray, the pool was closed even though we were told it would be open. Bathtub had mold in it. The hotel had sketchy people hanging around. Random kids playing on my personal vehicle. Hotel and parking lot all run down. The pictures online must of been from when they first built the property. Absolutely do not recommend. Safety: There was no feeling of safety at this place!
One of the most disgusting places I have ever been! Horrible Smell , Cigarette Burns on Bedding , Dirty Tub , Disgusting front door , and Black Mold on the walls in bathroom!!! And the attendant at the desk really said “ The floor we were given is for their locals , so I should understand why it is like that”!!!!! Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here!!
