The staff is super friendly and helpful. The room honestly was cleaner than the last few places I’ve stayed. Also I love that they have outside access to the rooms. Idk why but I hate lugging all my junk through a lobby and I’m the middle of everything. Having outside entrance makes me feel like I have more privacy. This is in a quiet area. Felt very safe. I literally have no complaints. Thanks for a great stay!
This Red Roof Inn is subpar compared to other Red Roof Inns I have stayed at. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The beds were comfortable. However, there were cigarette burn holes in the comforter of one of the beds, there was no shampoo and conditioner in the room, or any tissues, the chair for the desk was this rickety old office chair, and the bathroom door had no lock. Red Roof Inns aren't exactly five star or even four star hotel quality, but they usually don't cheap out on making sure that the rooms and linens are properly maintained, nor do they cheap out on providing basic necessities in the room. I feel like the management at this Red Roof Inn is just trying to run things on the cheap, to keep the rates low. Granted, this place will do the trick if you just need a comfortable, clean, cheap room to stay in for the night, but otherwise, it's definitely lacking in meeting basic expectations beyond that, especially by Red Roof Inn standards.
Place seemed okay for a single traveler like myself. I stayed one night. I didn’t see any bugs crawling on the walls. Didn’t see any mice. Room seemed clean. Very simple room. King bed very comfortable. Sheets seemed clean. Comfortable. Tv had good amount of channels. No weird smells walking in the room. Some of the reviews note there’s issues with this $50 deposit. They refunded me my deposit the same day I checked out. Conveniently close to some nice restaurants. Olive Garden etc. the area seems okay. Other hotels in the area. Things I didn’t like much. The only desk in the room was attached to the dresser the tv was on and it was small. Not much elbow room. The stands next to the bed were really small too. No elevator. So you’re walking up some stairs and they’re these wooden looking stairs. I didn’t see this “free” breakfast noted. There was a coffee pot in the front desk office. I’m hoping that couldn’t be it. But there was nowhere else really. I would stay here again for a quick night. Couldn’t see an extended stay.
Booked online and was able to get a room quickly, we didn’t check in until about 11pm and we had to check out 11am so we mostly slept but the shower wasn’t clean there dirt still on the floor. However when we woke up in the morning we found a tick in the bed! When I brought this up to staff they informed me that pest control was already called and supposed to be there sometime this week. But that means they knew about ticks and did not inform anyone! When I asked about getting a discount they said they would have to talk to management as we slept there already. Upon looking at my credit card statement to see my deposit alphas be returned hours later I noticed there was another $65 payment taken out from Red Roof that I did not approve. Although it was a cheaper option for the area I would not recommend and will NOT be back.
I've been staying here for around 2 months give or take. I've had exceptional housekeeping services also exceptional front desk services and have enjoyed my stay here so far.. I would recommend this place to others for short-term or long-term stay they will work with you and treat you pretty good according to how you treat them so THANK YOU! to Red Roof Inn staff and management!!
Absolutely horrible customer service. The Hotel front desk clerk with the glasses and black curly hair had an utterly.nasty attitude. As visitors from another state, she showed absolutely no customer service skills. She made me and my party feel completely unwelcome and didn't give up any sort of respect. We were expecting to be treated with good hospitality, but didn't even give us the time of day when we arrived there; and made a big deal about us trying to check into the hotel. We were completely appaled and decided to take our business elsewhere. I would never stay at this hotel line, or even consider it ever again. I heavily suggest getting the employees there some training in people skills, because she was not personable at all.
Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a place. They compare countless booking websites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you definitely won't be let down. Everything was good. The housekeepers are really good and also the the front desk worker. Helped me through my stay there. It was quiet and peaceful. All the restaurants are near by and also close to the highway. Loved the stay.
Thankfully Dodged a Bullet! Possibly literally on 09/28/22. I believe this motel discriminates against women. I pre paid for a room at red roof inn based on price and the positive reviews. Either the reviews were lies or posted by family of the angry guy at the front counter. Angry desk clerk was incredibly rude to the guest in front of me…when I asked if he could treat customers with more respect, he told me to leave and find another hotel. I think it was because I was a woman that he treated me with so much disdain. Also, he was so hostile to a third woman guest, I thought it wise to call the police to de escalate a possible dangerous situation. I’m grateful to the Louisville PD for their kindness and helping me find better accommodations. RUN from red roof inn! Not a safe or clean motel. Could be a scam since they took away my paid room and refused to give me a refund! Horrible place and staff. Police told me the motel runs drugs out of that location…they get called to that location frequently. I’m angry and cheated out of $75. Not to mention $165 to find last minute hotel at 9pm!
Room had a mildew odor and floor near bathroom was wet. The walls around the tub had mold on them with cracks. The toilet ran all night long and no first floor rooms available so we took what we could. The front desk associate was non emotional like a robot and wanted a $50 cash deposit. Only had a $100 bill on me and she didn't want to give me the only $5 she had in her drawer for change Like I was the one with the problem. I told her I would be happy to run to the gas station and get change after I dropped off my luggage in the room but she refused to give me a room key until I went to get the change for the hundred first!!! The Nerve!! I just told her to keep the hundred as the deposit instead but I wanted a copy of the form showing I gave her a hundred instead of 50 and she acted like it was a chore to do tbat...Never again will I stay at this or any other Red Roof Inn again
