I'm a PC gamer. The max I can get at my hourse is 8mbps. When I do a speed test. I'm getting 3.5, and when I'm downloading I'm only getting 1 if not less. With all of the money they get, you would think that we would get better service eith better ways of getting that service. As a community, I think we have had enough of this. Either they get better or we will get something else. I can't even watch YouTube when someone is watching Netflix on their computer. And the outsourcing of their Internet? Don't even get me started.

They have terrible customer service. Sense they are the only internet provider option in certain areas they dont care what kind of service they provide or their prices. The price is outrageous. We just opted to not have internet due to prices which is a huge disappointment because now we will not have cell service in our home either.

Edit- Now BCT Has cable internet for 50/100 mbps! 5 stars
People don't seem to understand, the farther away you are from the switching facility or service the slower the speeds, it even says that on their website. Even though ADSL2+ is an old way of internet access over 50% of the world uses ADSL, ADSL2+, SDSL, and VDSL. We like BCT because the internet package over here is 4 MB/s and we get 4 MB/s Down and 2MB/s up. Pick the right internet package the technicians say. We called they only guaranteed 3 to 4 MB/s. Call them have them come out and pick the package that is closest to your guaranteed speed. Overall BCT is ok just don't pick the 15MB/s plan when you live 10 miles away from the facility.

2nd Update - I now have the offered 50m service and could not be happier! Thanks to Brian, Jason and Ben for the onsite install that is very clean and professional, and for also yarding out the old coax off my pole! I can and will now recommend BCT!!
Update - I now have the choice of 50/100Mbs cable internet with BCT and have updated my review reflecting my new found happiness. The field guys (Ben) that have worked at my place are great, as well Chris and Elaine have been very helpful and have provided great customer service!
Monopoly/Slow/Overpriced/Bad Attitude.....3.5Mbs for $88....$27 of which is a landline that goes unused. They tell you they are upgrading to cable modems soon......pfffft. Fiber is the future.

Welp, It finally happened. They have Cable internet now. I'm currently using the 100/5 plan and I get the full speed offered and I haven't had an issue with any downtime. I'm change my review from 1 star to 5 stars due to the service now being offered. It's finally a real internet company. *wipes tear from eye* it's grown so fast.
