Benjamin Franklin High School

Large public high schools face a certain number of pitfalls common to their nature but Franklin has been incredibly intentional and thoughtful in avoiding some of the negative aspects of a larger school while cultivating exceptional educational, artistic, and athletic opportunities for the students. The facility itself is outstanding and creates a junior college atmosphere with comfortable commons areas throughout the campus.

Welp, it is was a good school and I don't know if it is now. As someone who's father worked on the construction of the new campus and as a student who promoted the renovation in the school newspaper, I'd like to visit the school. Only problem is that when I called before hand to ask if they accept visitors before, during, and after school the office lady I was talking to just said nope, goodbye, and hung up. Really disrespectful coming from someone who had a nice tone when they called, and the person on the other end was being totally rude. Guess I'll be emailing the school also, and if that doesn't work I'm thinking of a headline for the newspaper I'm currently writing for...I think I'll call it "Paranoid School disrespects previous students." :)

I love this high school! The campus is new and it has a big athletic field! Good academics and team sports. Hope to go there next school year!

The new building is great and amazing. Love how new it is but still kept the old franklin vibe and uses the gym flooring for certain things
