Tried to get a piece of metal removed from my face - first appointment I show up and they need to reschedule me and 2 months out! Show up for the second appointment 15 min early, check in and immediately go sit right in front of the door of plastic surgery for 45 minutes and no one ever comes out. I go down to the front desk and ask about the delay and they get plastic surgery on the phone and then try some B.S. about how they kept trying to call me in and maybe I was in the wrong spot - I WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE DOOR WITH DOCTOR MURPHY'S FACE POSTED RIGHT NEXT TO THE DOOR! So the front desk lady then hands me the phone and the lady on the phone tells me they need to reschedule - again! Then puts me on hold, i hand the phone back and walk out. I will never come back here.

Kaiser has always been good to me. I have been a Kaiser patient for almost 17 years.

Great facility to be completely neglected!
If you think your condition is serious DO NOT come here. They are a patient mill, all about pushing people out the door regardless of whether not they're ailments are addressed or critical. I'm not sure if it's because it's near 82nd in Clackamas or what the reason is, but I've seen this place display some very odd behavior. I've never been accused of even LOOKING like a druggie, but one of my first visits a nurse handed me a UA cup and literally said, "This will determine your level of care received." I thought it sounded weird, but complied by filling the cup. I told my wife about it once she came in and she was furious! She said that's illegal, but how they deal with addicts. I'm not..(never have been, dont plan on it) but, now, I've felt like I was treated as a drug addict on several occasions there. I've checked my file and it says nothing but nice things about me, clean, polite, Well groomed, alert, sober etc.
I don't mind being asked to take a UA, but I also should feel comfortable asking for pain pills if I have bones or parts of my body sticking out where they don't belong.
This place is a joke. Avoid it like the plague.

My husband, Greg, received excellent and caring medical care from everybody who worked with him during his 2.5 week stay Nov-Dec. 2017 in both the CVPCU and Renal Units.

I have repeatedly had the WORST treatment here. I have had a student put an IV in without my knowledge that they were a student until they have the needle in my arm and were fishing for my vein and being directed by a nurse. I have had a doctor tell me that with chest pain and shortness of breath that I shouldn't have come to the ER and gave me a GI cocktail for something I clearly stated was NOT heartburn. I am so done with Kaiser as a whole. I'm at the point where I would rather go out of my insurance network for healthcare if this behavior is what I should be expecting from Kaiser.
