Benson's Tavern & Beer Garden

This was the first I came here for dinner and to listen to Pint & A Half. The food was amazing. Drinks were perfect. And service was great. Something I myself take seriously. If the service is great anywhere. I am going back!

Very surprised at how good the food was here. Was expecting typical sub par pub food. That was not the case. Great chill atmosphere with delicious sandwiches. My wife and I ordered to separate ones and ended up splitting and trading because they were both so good we wanted to try each of them. Super chill Salida vibe. I love this town and Benson's is a must visit while you are here for a few cold ones and some good food.

I had an excellent experience at Benson's. The bartender made me feel welcome right from the start and provided attentive service throughout, checking in frequently. He was engaging and chatted about the local area. The turkey avo bacon sandwich was fresh and of good quality and the beer battered onion rings were crisp and thickly coated. It was a great light meal in a comfortable environment. I'll be returning again the next time I'm in town. Thanks, Chief!

Solid bar food and a chill patio make this my favorite spot in Salida. Nice selection of beers and the tables are nicely spread out so even when it’s busy you don’t feel like you are on top of someone. Check this place out. We had a great burger and green chili cheese fries

A local favorite and staple of the "Salida Night Life". It's a great restaurant/pub serving good pub style food, Salida style. The sunny outdoor patio is the best in Salida. Try the Reuben or their burrito.
