Terminal Bar

My friend and I met here after he took the train from the airport to downtown. I love how the terminal bar is such a convenient location and the vibe matches the building perfectly. They have a huge beer and cocktail selection. Their prices are a little high but they match the demands of other high end bars nearby. I love the numerous seating options too. You can sit outside, inside, and even outside in the main level. Its perfect for large groups, and groups that have joiners too!

Wow, as you walk in thinking what a nice place it is to sit down have a drink and a few items from the menus to eat. Well after our visit looks can be deceiving. The front-end staff was great. So it started with waiting about an hour until our truffle fry’s came out (very cold) which most likely was sitting in the back. Then a gentlemen in a different uniform (maybe the manager) came out and told us our fish tacos were taking awhile because they forgot to leave the tarter sauce out. This is not the big deal either. We said no problem, we will be okay with waiting a little longer. Then in about 5 minutes or less the fish tacos came out. This is where I experienced something I had never experienced in my entire life until this very moment. As I begin to lift up this amazing fish taco in front of me, I begin to see something crawling. Then, my husband and I thought it was ‘just a fruit fly’ so we tried to shoo the fly away, it was not leaving and kept crawling only. What could it be we thought. So we looked closer and to find out that it was a baby cockroach. This is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in my life in a restaurant. I really hope that, some change and health audits come their way. I wonder how many people have actually eaten their food with the roach in it, especially after a few drinks in it’s possible you may pay less attention to the food. Please Terminal Bar fix your violation of health code.

I love the atmosphere of this place and where its located. The vintage feel of the terminal makes you feel as if your living a piece of history. I also like how you can order at the terminal window and take your drink or food with you to eat at one of the many wooden tables around the foyer. There is no place quite like Union Station and this bar is an excellent touch to the terminal scene.

Really unique spot for food and drinks. It opens up to a huge space like a train terminal with an order window and big tables and benches in the open retail space, along with the usual table and bar seating inside the actual restaurant. A few shops around if thats your speed as well. Nice stop if you're just visiting and looking for a quick bite and brew before heading out for the night.

During me and my wife stay in Denver for the weekend this was one of our favorite places. Great charm and historical feel with great menu! Only issue is that you might not find place to sit as it very popular! No wonder!
