The Intrepid Sojourner Beer Project

I enjoyed the extensive beer menu and unique and authentic offerings. The service was good, the ambiance was good, and we had a great time playing trivia. Will definitely go back and recommend it to friends.

I had my doubts about this place because some of the strange adjuncts they use in their beers however their usage was with just the right amount of nuance. I would like to return soon to try more offerings. My main issue is that most of their beers are high abv and there is little available in a modest abv offered in a full pint size. I think the cheapest beer they had on was $5.50 for a 13 oz pour. It's kind of the ultimate beer snob place as some of the pours were $8 for around 10 oz or so. I would like to reiterate that I understand this is likely due to the use of exotic and expensive ingredients as well as high abv beers. I think they are missing the market on a good competitively priced session beer. Maybe it just had to do with the timing of my visit and/or the beers that they choose to carry. I can't really hold that against them too much.

Incredibly diverse selection of styles and flavors paired with one of the most attentive and helpful staffs you'll ever see at a brewery (shout-out to Kyle and Ben, y'all are the best) makes Intrepid Sojourner a weekly guarantee for me and mine. Keep the food trucks and trivia and infusions and you'll keep the tables and bar packed. Not that it's an issue as is.

Good beer. Spices are an important part of their recipes. A little noisy since it fronts on 8th.
