Bistro De La Gare

Went for brunch on a Saturday. The food and wine were delicious. Service was very slow and not particularly friendly. I may give them another chance because I really did like the food.

Definitely not French fine dining. The prices here are not justified by the quality of the food. Waitress was great but steak ordered medium came out rare, had to be sent back, and there was zero attention paid to the presentation— both the steak and fish dishes looked like I could have been eating at Denny’s. Unfortunately won’t be going back.

For a neighborhood restaurant, this is much better than it needs to be. An older crowd appreciates the chef's very well prepared bistro fare. No surprises here, but then no disappointments either.

This has to be my favorite restaurant in L.A....the food is always fantastic! I have never seen plates, when cleared from the table go away so entirely cleaned of every morsel of food! Great casual atmosphere, relaxing and not noisey, friendly staff & chef/ owner on premisis!

Lovely neighborhood restaurant with daily specials. Brunch is great on the weekends, but make reservations. Full bar with great cocktails.
