French Market Cafe

A little piece of France in the heart of Venice. Love the European Ambiance. You hear every Europe language and hardly any English. Food is great.... Simple and tasty. Ciao

This is a relatively tiny cafe/small specialty grocery on the ground floor of the location. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, and the restaurant-part is counter-service (meaning you order from the register and they will bring out your food to your table when ready). Our lunch was excellent, with generous portions of salmon and tea being served in a lovely steel pot. They also offer a limited selection of baked goods. Be warned, the parking lot is crowded as they share with a workout studio next door, so getting a spot can be somewhat difficult.

This cozy, french cafe and grocery is the perfect place for brunch. Their hot chocolate, topped with whipped cream, left me feeling happy and warm. My sweetie had a cappuccino which I tasted. The cappuccino had a nice foam which added an extra oomph while I sipped it. We shared a nutella crepe and a tomato, spinach and feta quiche (the quiche comes with a salad). The crepe was yummy, but that quiche was in a whole different category altogether. The crust was buttery, flaky and had an overall melt in your mouth quality. The rest of the quiche was just as delightful. I want more. I highly recommend this place!
