After a 12 hr drive we were so thankful to walk into a cabin so clean & spacious. We stayed in cabin #6 as we were a family of 10 + 1 baby & 2 toddlers. The cabin had everything we needed. Beds comfortable, very nice comfortable furniture, large damily size dining table fully equipped kitchen, more than enough linens, View was spectacular, owners friendly & thoughtful. Can’t wait to return and return we will.

This is about the sixth or seventh time we have stayed at The Bungalows and it gets better each time. Scott and Susan are GREAT hosts. Scott, as anyone can see, takes a great deal of pride in his workmanship in redoing the cabins. Having been doing furniture refinishing, wood carvings, many other wood projects over the last 30 years,(as a hobby) I can see the fulfillment he achieves from making things comfortable for their guests.
If you have friends or family who are into enjoying God’s gift of the great out of doors, do them a favor and inform them of The Black Hills Bungslows.

My family of five stayed here once four years ago. My kids loved the outdoors: the goats, the pond, etc. The owner was super friendly and helpful, and we loved the rustic makeovers he was doing to the cabins. Gorgeous!! Then, two years ago, we came back with some of our visiting family (party of 11) and had so much fun. The largest cabin fit us very comfortably. We're hoping to go back sometime soon!

Amazing!
We planned a family get away with my sister and her family. We each got a cabin here.
She had a bungalow, which was like an apartment with all the amenities. So, naturally, she did all the cooking. Her bungalow had place settings for eight and a nice roomy kitchen to cook in while listening to the little ones run crazy outside.
My family had cabin 4. It was cozy, and just right for us. The layout was simple with a rustic appeal. We liked the wood and overall feel of the cabin. While we didn't cook, the kitchen was cozy. The bed was comfortable. We slept hard.
The view. My goodness, the view was awesome. From our porch, we could see deer and geese in the morning by the steam covered pond.
We could watch the sun come up.
We could also see some of the spires from needles highway poking up by the mountains
This place was an awesome find.
Plus, the owner was great. He was very kind and courteous.
