My aunt and I stayed there this past weekend. What a beautiful place. The cabin was immaculate, the grounds beautiful and the location perfect. We were 10 minutes from Bear Country, 10 from Mt Rushmore Monument. We went into Rapid City for groceries which is a short 22 miles. Hill city offers tons of shops and eateries which is a short drive of maybe 10 minutes tops down the highway. Dont pass up this amazing place to stay if you are ever in the area. Check in was quick and the owner was very helpful with a crockpot and hot plate. We will definitely plan another stay.

Amazing experience, beautiful cabins, and the owner was extremely hospitable. We had an incredible time in the Black Hills; cannot wait to go back!!! Also, don't miss the Dairy Twist up the road, as you're heading into Hill City...excellent burgers and milk shakes! 😁

The people who own it are so friendly and helpful!! Location is located near everything! Very clean, cozy and just the right amount of rustic!!

Way better than we expected! Very clean very cozy. I think they only allow pets certain times of the year we travel with our pets and was great!

Wonderful accommodations run by great people. Super-friendly and very helpful. The cabins themselves look fantastic. The location is excellent. Not everyone will enjoy the proximity of the nearby road, but these cabins are the perfect compromise for those who want an appearance and feel of being out in the wilderness without actually being cut off in some remote location. The locality of so many famous landmarks and worthwhile places to visit only sells this place even more. We stayed for only two nights, as we had prior reservations elsewhere in South Dakota for our five-day road trip, but should we find ourselves returning to the area, Rustic Ridge is the first place I would look to stay, hopefully for longer, next time around! Thanks for everything.
