Trails End Cabins & Motel

Highly recommend this place. Checking out in the morning after our second night. The cabin is a 5 minute walk to Hill City main drag. If you are looking to have the convenience of a tourist amenities and also the black hills experience, this is for you. So far I've seen several deer and turkeys just feet from our cabin door. Doug and Mary, the owners are solid people. Last night there was a community bonfire where we just sat, exchanged stories and had a great time. The cabin is clean, roomy and very comfortable. It also has A/C which was unexpected, but really good. It's been pretty hot this week. If your thinking of staying in a chain hotel, give this place a try. We'll be back! Thanks Doug and Mary. We stayed with 2 adults, a 4 year old and a 2 year old.

Great place to stay if you are riding the trail. Bike friendly and convenient location. Doug and Mary and very accommodating. Beats motel option by a mile.

Very nice place to stay, in the heart of the black hills. Super great owners, will help anyway they can to make it a great stay.

The people that work in the office were some of the friendliest people in this state. The cabins were clean and are close to Main Street allowing you to walk to many of the small shops. My only suggestion to improve the cabin would be to upgrade the ac units.

The best place to stay! My family has stayed here the last 3 summers. Doug and Mary make us feel like family. They are always making improvements and updating the property. They come and check on you and they join you at the end of the day on the patio or around the fire pit. You also get to know the other guests too. At night, it's quiet and peaceful. Nature comes to the backdoor.
