What a great little group of cabins! We will be back again. Hopefully when mother nature cooperates a tad more. We live near Rocky Mountain National Park and feel like we just found our new go to place. Clean, well appointed, off the highway, beautiful scenery, all good things to say about this place.

Accommodating, friendly and efficient management. Comfortable cabins. A stone's throw from Crazy Horse and Mount Rushmore monuments. In the middle of South Dakota's beautiful Black Hills. We come from Seattle to the Backroads, and have for years.

My family and I stayed here (in The Barn) for four nights. The cabin and the setting were both beautiful, and the cabin had everything we needed. They even provided ingredients for s'mores. If we're ever fortunate enough to vacation in this area again, I hope we get to stay at Backwoods. It was exactly what I'd hoped for.

We stayed two nights in the "Spokane" cabin. It was a wonderful place: warm, cozy, comfy, clean, and very inviting. We will definitely stay again if in the area.
