Though the food way okay-ish the avocado salad came out without avocado, chicken or dressing. Even after sending it back twice, we got chicken and avocado, but the dressing never made it to our table. The two chicken breasts for the chicken dinner still weren't ready when we played (60 minutes after ordering), so our kids just had the sides (which to be fair were quite tasty!). This was allegedly their first busy day of the season (with 5 tables being occupied and 3 waiters on duty). To be frank, one of the worst restaurant experiences in a long time, though the view is beautiful (but can also be enjoyed from the little beach right past the lodge).

One of the most friendliest places I have been to. Must have: Bison Sliders and Jamaican Chicken. Our hostess was Alessa, a very welcoming person! She even told us the places that we need to visit in the Custer state park. Overall a great place to visit!

I have not stayed here overnight, we stopped in to swim at the lake and we had ice cream at the lodge. The staff was friendly and the kids enjoyed the ice cream a lot.
