K Bar S is a an amazing place to kick back & enjoy the gorgeous property, the luscious land & the amazing view of Mount Rushmore. It is tucked backed in the woods, quiet & quaint. The staff welcomes you with a smile & are extremely friendly & helpful. I highly recommend K Bar S if you are visiting this area. (Little note, if GPS tells you, 'you have arrived', go a little further & you'll see the driveway.)

Attended a wedding today. The repast was prime rib. Perfectly done and wonderfully presented. Management and staff are superb. Great choice for the nuptial celebration.

Everything was perfect during our stay. The front desk staff is friendly. The room (handicapped accessible) is large and cozy. The grounds are beautiful.

Staff is great and the view is amazing. However, door cards don’t seem to work, and the air conditioning is quite polar. Rooms get very hot then get cooled to being very cold. Made for a restless night. (Also don’t pay an extra $100.00 to get a room that sees Mt. Rushmore, half of a face a couple miles away isn’t worth the money)

Very clean and tranquil place. Rooms are comfy and the view is spectacular. A part of Mount Rushmore can be seen clearly frombthe lodge.
